2 day rope play: elemental connection

This 2 Day Shibari Exploration: Elemental Connection will take us into the magnetic and hypnotic qualities of Shibari rope which lends to the magic that is held within them.  Shibari, is the Japanese Art of tying the body in ropes.  More than just the technical tying of the ropes on the body, this class guides you to a way of movement, mood, emotion, and energetics at which one applies the rope to the body.  You will learn how to translate basic Shibari Skills into deeply moving and connective experiences with our partner. Both the person tying and the one being tied can receive something special from this experience.  Be it more information about themselves, their desires, their curiosity, a new sensation in the body, relaxation, excitement, maybe it shows you your fears and struggles.  This is the magic and mystery of the ropes, accessibility to feeling something meaningful.  

WHO:

This class is open to everyone, new, beginner, and intermediate. If you have a partner, sign up together. If you don’t have a partner, bring a friend, a neighbor, an acquaintance, or someone new. No worries here . Otherwise, you will partner with another participant in the class who also signs up solo.

WHERE:

A yoga studio in West Asheville. Location released to those who are registered.

𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐒:
There will be ropes available for class use. If you have your own, bring them! If you desire to have your own rope, there will be some available for purchase. I have 8m Jute Ropes that are Red Color.

  • You are welcome to sign up solo. Then you will partner with others who are have also registered solo.

    I do not control the genders of those who register. I allow and encourage all combinations of pairings.

  • I encourage comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. Some people enjoy the sensation of the ropes on the skin, so short sleeves and shorts are great options.

    Nudity?
    There will be no nudity in this class.

  • If you cancel 10 days before the workshop you may recieve a refund. Within the 10 day window, you may receive a credit towards about class/workshop hosted by Shibari Unravelled with the exception of collaborations. You may also find a person to replace your spot in exchange for the ticket.
