Rope Play: 3 Day Shibari Immersion
Come join Rope Play: Shibari Immersion at The Sanctuary at Two Rivers in Montezuma, Costa Rica. Take a journey into the unknown, into the depth of the jungle, along a trodden path into the sacred waters, walking through the river to arrive at The Sanctuary to embark on a 3 Day Shibari Immersive Experience.
Shibari, the Japanese art of tying the human body with ropes is a profound explorationβa dance, a game, a scene, a moment in time to share connection with another person in a unique and powerful way. The ropes become a conduit to self-awareness and empowerment, a journey that delves into the depths of our polarityβfeminine and masculine, surrender and control, discomfort and pleasure, past and present. This exploration illuminates the dynamics within ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us.
As your guide, I will lead you into a journey of the ropes. We will learn the basics of how to tie, how to move the ropes, and how to create aesthetically beautiful ties while learning how to convey a mood and emotion with your partner, the one you are tying. The body responds to the compression, to the holding, to the nurturing embrace of the ropes bringing a transcendent bliss. We will explore the range of sensations and provoke deep relaxation, excitement, desire, and joy. Also, it will also show you the soft parts of you, your fears and your struggles. Within this container, you will be held. Everything is welcome as this is space where we will lean into edges and make new discoveries of self.

You are welcome as you are. My approach to rope is gentle and inclusive of your needs. I work with people new to the rope, helping them build comfort and ease, recognizing it may be vulnerable.
