A Shibari & Primal Play Exploration

Primal Play

May 23rd-24th | salt lake city, utah

In a world that teaches us to override our feelings, to “perform” to "behave" rather than to feel and express, to shrink instead of take up space. Primal play is an act of getting reconnected to our core essence. To our senses, to our intuition, to our felt sense, to the nonsensical fluctuations in mood, emotion, expression that requires no verbal explanation. They just are.

A way back into our most authentic and human selves.

From a somatic lens, every movement, every impulse to growl, stretch, crawl, sway, sniff, or stillness—carries intelligence. These aren’t random gestures; they are clues to what your nervous system needs. They are invitations to reawaken your aliveness, your boundaries, your curiosity, your authentic truth.

The ropes become sacred mirrors, inviting us to explore our relationship with control and surrender, restriction and freedom, expansion and contraction, pleasure and pain.
At first glance, these might appear to be dualities—opposing forces.

But what if... they’re gateways into one another?

What if you could find control through surrender?
Freedom through the ties that hold you?
Pleasure in the transmutation of pain?

Do you feel the power in this?

This class is for you if…
…you crave a deeper connection to your body, your voice, your truth.
…you want to play more, feel more, and express without needing to explain.
…you’re curious about the wild wisdom within you—the growl, the stillness, the authentic yes, and assertive no.
…you desire to understand and embody boundaries as a pathway to intimacy and freedom.
…you’re ready to explore sensation, surrender, and power through the art of Shibari and primal play.
…you long to move beyond performance and into presence.
…you want to feel safe, seen, and held in your full aliveness.
…you’re here to reclaim your untamed self.
