Terms of Service:

Retreats | Immersions | Events

By booking and participating in any retreat, immersion, or event hosted by Shibari Unravelled, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed per person unless otherwise specified. Pricing includes the cost of the retreat or event itself and does not cover travel expenses to and from the location.

To secure your space, a non-refundable deposit of $400 is required at the time of booking.

Full payment must be submitted no later than 60 days before the event begins. If payment is not received by this deadline, your reservation will be forfeited, and the deposit retained. In certain extenuating circumstances, a five-business-day grace period may be offered to finalize the balance.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Participants who cancel their reservation 61 days or more prior to the event will receive a full refund of all payments made, excluding the deposit. Cancellations made between 31 and 60 days before the event start date will receive a refund of 50% of the total payment. Cancellations within 30 days of the event start date are non-refundable.

Host Cancellation or Changes

Shibari Unravelled reserves the right to cancel or modify any retreat, event, or immersion at its discretion, including changes to accommodations, scheduled activities, or meals. In the rare event of a cancellation initiated by Shibari Unravelled, all payments made will be refunded in full. However, Shibari Unravelled assumes no responsibility for any expenses incurred by participants, including travel costs, preparation expenses, or accommodation bookings. Participants are strongly encouraged to secure comprehensive travel insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellations or disruptions.

Participant Conduct and Safety

By attending a retreat, you agree to uphold the safety, harmony, and integrity of the group experience. Participants are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly. Any conduct deemed inappropriate, including violence, harassment, or disruptive behavior, will result in immediate removal from the event without refund or reimbursement. Failure to disclose personal conditions, such as addictions or behaviors that may pose a danger to yourself or others, may also result in removal without compensation. Shibari Unravelled upholds a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, bullying, gossip, or violence in any form.

Adjustments for Weather and Unforeseen Circumstances

Shibari Unravelled acknowledges that weather conditions, unforeseen circumstances, and external factors may impact scheduled activities during the retreat or event. For the safety and comfort of participants, Shibari Unravelled reserves the right to adjust or modify activities as necessary, including changes due to inclement weather, environmental hazards, or safety risks. No refunds or credits will be issued for adjustments made due to these conditions.

Risks and Release of Liability for Shibari Activities

By engaging in Shibari-related activities, participants assume full responsibility for any risks and injuries and release Shibari Unravelled, its facilitators, and organizers from any liability for damages, injuries, or emotional distress that may result from participation. Participants must also disclose any pre-existing physical, mental, or emotional conditions that may impact their ability to safely engage in these activities.

By attending, participants release, discharge, and hold harmless Shibari Unravelled, its facilitators, organizers, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from injuries or accidents, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
