Women’s Rope Play: 2 Day Shibari Exploration

 A 2 Day Shibari Workshop just for women!  An open space to explore the power and sensuality of Shibari Ropes.  In this series we will be expressing both sides of the polarity of the feminine energetic of surrender and flow as well as the and masculine energetic of leadership and guidance.  You will be guided through different styles of touch, movement, mood, power play, and sensation that are based on the Four Elements of Nature.  This class also has a strong communication focus on how to express your intention, desires, and boundaries.  Specific tools taught in the workshop guide you how to honor yourself & help you articulate to your partner with more clarity. Learning how to express how you want to experience them, their presence, and their touch. A helpful tool not only for Shibari but all intimacy and connection with others.  We will take you behind the scenes of the ropes, teaching you how to do more with less. Learning to feel into the body, how to soften into surrender and also emboldening control.   In this class, rope is the symbol and the catalyst for this work, yet this is not a highly technical class. 

Women: This is a class for women only, including transwomen. 

Shibari is the Japanese Art of tying the human body in rope. It is a game, a dance, a scene, a moment in time to share an experience with another person in a unique and powerful way. Shibari is a gateway to connection. Both the person tying and the one being tied can receive something special from the experience. Be it more information about themselves, their desires, their curiosity, a new sensation in the body, relaxation, joy, excitement, maybe it shows you fears and struggles. This is the magic and mystery of the ropes. The endless possibilities for what can be felt and experienced
